Bezalel Innovations Buyer Map

Pieter Lagaay | Bezalel Innovations | October 2026

As of 16 Oct 2026

Bezalel Innovations offers ACTS, a wireless surgical tourniquet system with two adaptive cuff sizes, to surgical facilities as a subscription rather than a capital purchase.

This page maps the kinds of facilities that run tourniquet cases, who usually signs off at each, and where a first conversation tends to land.

Where the buyers sit

Who usually signs off at each group

Titles vary by facility. These are the seats that most often approve a change in operating room equipment and consumables.

Who feels the change day to day

The people who argue for a new tourniquet setup are usually the ones who handle the old one. Sterile processing carries the five cuff sizes. Operating room nurses move, plug in, and clean the pole-mounted compressor between cases. Infection prevention cares about reusable cuffs that are rarely cleaned the way protocol requires.

Surgeons who run extremity cases, foot and ankle and hand and orthopedic trauma among them, see the setup time and the tubing across the floor. Their voice tends to open the door, and the committee closes it.

Why a subscription changes who decides

A compressor per room is a capital request, which usually waits for a yearly capital cycle. A subscription that covers cuffs, consumables, and usage data moves the decision toward the operating budget and the value analysis process, where perioperative and supply chain leaders can act sooner.

At a surgery center the same shift matters even more, since the administrator and physician owners often decide in one meeting.

Where to start

Bring the value analysis to the committee

The site already carries a savings calculator and offers a short value analysis call. Value analysis committees and perioperative directors ask for exactly that comparison of cuff spend, inventory, and setup time, so leading with a facility's own numbers fits how these groups already decide.

Start where the reps are on the ground

Field representation covers Greater Los Angeles, San Diego and the Imperial Valley, Santa Barbara and Ventura, Far Northern California, Hawaii, and Northern Virginia with the DC and Maryland suburbs. Hospitals and surgery centers in those territories can be visited in person, and ACTS has already been used in surgery in Redding, California.

Lead with no capital purchase at surgery centers

Ambulatory surgery centers run lean and decide quickly. A subscription with no compressor to buy or service, two cuff sizes to stock, and a setup under a minute speaks directly to an administrator who signs for both the budget and the room turnover.

Built from public federal registries and the company's own website, counts banded deliberately.
